Is This The Facelift T6.1

Alot of colour coding required for myself.
If this is the facelift then I shall wait for the T7 to be released as not enough about it to warrant the change for me.
Fingerscrossed for a good T7 design..

If you look at the date this is the article that was discussed in a thread about 6 months ago

I doubt that's a facelift..

If it is it looks awful. !

It's more likely a 1 piece front section (with additional cooling) That is easily removed while they are testing new kit, engines, or whatever.

A facelift is possible if the want to generate a boost in new van sales.

And 2021 sounds a bit early for a T7, the range normally runs for 7-10 years looking at history.

And a Ford/VW partnership scares the pants off me. FORD van don't come close in IMHO, so a partnership would mean an increased price Ford van or a Dereased quality VW van?

Who knows what they are planning.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they put a 1.6 diesel in the next facelift, they could give it the same power and torque as the lower two derivatives of the 2 litre while increasing the fuel economy and lowering emissions. VW have to get their emissions down a lot as the swing from diesel to petrol has put their fleet average up to the level where they will end up with a huge fine from the EU for not meeting their targets.

I wonder if there's a thread like this on a T5 site from several years ago showing suspected spy-shots of the T6 and the speculation, to compare it with how close the pictures were.

T7 is the next stop!

T6 is a T5.1 facelift, which is a T5 facelift!

Still the best van on the market, and the body is 16 years old!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Decreased quality VW? Yes the Transits are pants, but the T6 has had the accountants fingers all over it, wait for the T7. I'm seriously considering where my hard earned cash goes next.

What ever does come out.. i am pretty sure that if members buy one it will be spec'd with LED's...:thumbsup:

I'm sure I won't like the T7 design as much as the T6 as it will inevitably look sportier and more like other vans. I don't even have my T6 yet but I'm already nostalgic for the design which really is a modern classic and I can't imagine how it could be improved upon.
