Yes DXX - I agree. But it wasn't a silver bullet. It just changes some pollutants for others and the output is not necessarily less toxic with one or the other. Just different.
Besides, in all the studies, different engines emit different amounts of crap with different fuels depending on different temperatures and various other factors like altitude, speed, length of trips, etc etc.
Too many variables to say one is 'better' than the other.
