Emergency collision assist warning came on

Sorry I can’t / couldn’t find same issue in forum. I was driving my T6 Kombi earlier (it’s high line with front assist features) and what I believe to be the collision assist illuminated on the display. It wasn’t red so no city asssit. There was no traffic in either direction, at i guess I was somewhere between 30-40 mph and just heading down steep hill on major A road.

very odd, anyone else had this?

I’ve had it once, about two years ago, never again so I kinda forgot about it. If it happened more than once every few months I’d get it checked out.

Kidding aside, I worked on the system that automatically called the emergency services when a collision was detected! Long story short: engineer took test car home, pub, ditch, call, paramedics and cops, night in cells!

Don’t even know his name - I was involved in the SIM and mobile connectivity side of it (before M2M and IoTrite became a thing!)
