Please could someone help/advise. I have uploaded a short video of my T6 starting from cold with the clutch in, then releasing clutch, then depressing and releasing the clutch a few time.
You'll notice that when the clutch is depressed the engine is quiet-er and when I partially depress the clutch you can hear the rattle of the clutch thrust bearing (?). Without the clutch depressed, the engine is quite noisy and appears to be low level rotational rumblings... (it probably sounds a lot worse because of the confined space).
Please could someone help diagnose the problem/noise?
I contacted my local VW garage for a diagnosis/assessment, but they couldn't fit me in for 17 days! I am due to make a 500mile round trip over Easter weekend and am worried that something terminal may happen! Am I worrying over nothing? Is the DMF or thrust bearing about to fail catastrophically?
