Drivers seat replacement

I recently purchased a t6 with a captains drivers seat that has been modified for a disabled person. I want to change this to have a standard seat base And keep the captains seat. The problem is the seat bottom (not the base) has been modified by cutting it short (See pictures) so it doesn’t have the rails anymore. So I can’t attach it to a normal base (which I’ve purchased). If I bought a non Captains seat would I be able to remove the originals seat bottom (which you sit on) and the rear and attach it to the new chairs frame? Click on pic and see the

I think i have drivers seat from T5, you could you parts from that. I think i also have most of black plastics to match too.
