CAAB long time to start

I have the same issue. I noticed it 2 weeks ago and thought nothing of it until it happened again at the weekend. Mine only gets used of a weekend so Ill try the battery charger first and rule that out.
@Pauly , how do you hire the VCDS??

CAAB owner here ...we had this and it was a toss up between tired battery or lazy starter .
New starter fitted ....no more slow to start probs

I’m hoping that’s what it’ll be, will investigate. Was yours intermittent too?

Mine just seemed to take longer than it ever used to , wasnt so much intermittent

@Dellmassive @Pauly @JumpShip, thanks all, I am a VIP member but I plan to keep this a long time, so I’m going to buy a copy of VCDS when I get paid.

In the meantime I’ve done some videos, it did slightly struggle, but far from its worst…

It’s just the first video where it took slightly long to start than the other times, typically it’s not been that bad since I started videoing it.

So it varied how long it took to start?

Could be the beginning of issues with the starter motor.
