Hello hello,
It’s a panel van 120 000kms 102 hp with the CAAB engine manual gearbox
So as heading says we have a Vibration at RPM of 1800-2800 and most noticeable 3/4 and 5th gear up hill under load..
We had one bad injector and tried to change with recon set from DieselfixNeusse (another ball ache story for another time) but ended fitting brand new set and they all are now reading almost 0.0
But the vibration still there
we had the rattle from the Duell mass and decided to change that with a new Valeo one and it’s better although still has a tingle sound when cold, have had this before on another van with same Valeo exchange, no feedback of judder on clutch pedal at all.
I have tugged and crowbar ed the drive shafts and well as motor mounts and there is zero play,

Next in line is replacing the drive shafts but my understanding is as its rpm related it’s long shot or has anyone had similar issues,
I see a few other post but all dsg.. hoping for a solution from the experts here

Hi 4x4rob
It may be worth your while to check the rear control arm bushes on the front suspension, they caused a vibration on my T6 and they failed at that milage.
Hope you find a solution.
Cheers

I wouldn't replace driveshafts unless you have good reason to suspect they are the cause, you could just end up spending money with no improvement.

Have you driven another van of the same spec’, perhaps it’s just a characteristic of the vehicle? 102ps uphill under high load isn’t going to be a doddle.
Has this problem developed or has it been present as long as you’ve owned the van.
