Hi,

Not sure if this has been posted but I’ve now found a great solution to transport my mountain bikes. Hope this helps a few people as I know lots of people keep looking for solutions to this problem.

BikeStow

I just purchase the 2 version laminated one :)

Very neat although it takes up quite a bit of room. I have some truck load rails screwed to the side of my kombi. Bike rear wheel against the sliding door, saddle against the C pillar and wheel turned in 90 deg against the side then just a bungee round the head tube. Rock solid

So to be honest it does not take up much room as it folds flat. In use due to the wheel going in to the frame it actually is not that bad if you get me.

Just don't put wet bikes in it!

What holds the frame in place in the van or is it free to move around?

I've basically got a LWB van with a SWB living area, the storage is still LWB.
Then I'm planning to use the extra 400mm or so on removable bulkhead storage to equipment. When equipment not needed if having a romantic weekend away and wanna use rock roll bed open tail gate and look at the view bulk head can come out and stay home !

The above is now almost complete, need to spray my shelf brackets, but all works mint
