Are folding mirrors worth the 795+vat dealer cost?

I got them on my t6 but they don’t fold when locked do I need to program them to do that it’s a 2017

They can't be programmed. Well, they can't be on our 2017. My understanding is that the 5.1 (and perhaps very early 6's) can be programmed. Ours needs a module (T/lite I believe).

FYI after Tobs and Murdoch advice above, tried a long press of the remote lock button and the mirrors folded. Unfolded on ignition switch on. Happy days! 2019 BiTdi LWB Shuttle

That’s correct, MY17 is the only year that can’t be programmed, it needs a hardware module fitting, I’ve go a thread on here somewhere where I did it. Available from Travellinlite or many other sellers on eBay.

Have you tried to reset front windows.

Battery reset

This morning I changed my DRL bulb and to do so I disconnected and removed the battery. Everything is good and I’ve reset the clock but how do I reset my front windows so they go up and down automatically? also is there anything else that I need to check? TIA

My new 20 plate T6.1 Highline Kombi has them...must be standard as I never spec'd them.

Yeah they're standard now. Picked mine up last week has folding mirrors , hold remote to fold and unfold on start up.

Ahh OK didn't know about the remote bit.
If I hold the lock button that folds the mirrors then and visa versa ?

Yeah it folds when you hold the lock but it doesn't un fold on unlock. You have to get in and turn the ignition on to unfold

Well, tried it and hey presto!!
A long press of the open button opened the windows....then another long press of the lock button closed them again.
Mirrors opened when I turned on the ignition as you say.
