3-Pin Plug Not Working

So, my 3-pin plug socket is not working in my campervan (it's a t6 conversion as you'd imagine!). I've done all the usual checks:-

1. Used multiple power sources (house and the campsite I noticed it wasn't working on) - pretty sure I get power as the battery indicated goes to 13.5+ which only does when plugged in
2. Tried the test trip and that works and trips meaning it has power.

I just don't get power to the socket. Now, the converter said it could be just the fuse, makes sense. But I couldn't get much sense out of them when trying to find the fuse - there is an obvious bank of fuses put they tried to direct me to a closed unit I don't want to open.

So...

If I post pictures might people be able to make sense of it?
Can I just try anyone who is an electrician or is this a specialised thing?

I doubt there will be a fuse per se, it will be protected by a MCB and RCD device in the consumer unit.

Has it worked previously, is it a 240v from hookup or is it 240v from an invertor?

Pictures will be good,

It's definitely worked fine until it didn't. It is definite an MCB and RCD thing. Post later as I thought I could access the fuses and I just wanted to know which one but they lead me to a different box.

Images are on a different machine.

Trying to avoid a trip the peak district for something stupid.

So, two pictures of the main unit that I associate with power to the van and what I assumed, maybe naively, were the fuses.

The white box was found when they said you should find a box to the right of the fridge behind the drivers seat for fuses - but that is enclosed (and I am not sure the person talking to me had it right - but who am I to say).

Since this 3-pin plug has only worked when plugged to hookup (and this is by design) I don't have an inverter. Just learned that from another thread.

Okay, I think my single mains plug in the van is completely the domain of the RCD and three MCB switches. Based on this I don't think fuses are involved so the person I was talking might have been talking bollocks.

They are all on, which is the up position. If I move things down then I can tell I'm not getting outside power as the level goes to 12.x rather than 13.x. So, they are happy all in the up position and they don't trip.

If I push the test button the RCD switch drops down as it should and happily goes back up.

So I think that is all fine? Yet there is no power to the socket.

The white box near the fridge I don't think has anything to do the the hookup / mains and is instead the 12V routing and all the visible fuses are for that as well.

I doubt you will get a reply as the original poster hasn't been on the forum in a while and chances are its a different problem anyway. Post what your issue is, what's working, what isn't, any pictures of your set up and someone will able able to assist - oh and welcome to the forum
