Windscreen washer low pressure

Hello all

I noticed my windscreen washer pressure was low. Done some investigating and realised that the pipe located at the NS bonnet hinge that connects to the washer jets had split. Apparently a common problem. Managed to repair the pipe but still have low pressure at the jets. I've had the jets out and blown through, disconnected pipe at pump and blown/sucked through with a large syringe. The pump seems to be working fine as it's making the usual noise. I'm stumped. Any ideas people?

New pipe is probably your best best over a repaired one. Should be less than a tenner. A perished pipe that has been repaired is still perished, I'd imagine it's brittle and shot regardless of the repaired split. Hope you get it sorted buddy - awesome screen name btw

I've just joined this forum for this very reason.
The same issue was driving me mad. I read this, popped the bonnet, and there it was, a split pipe at the hinge. I tightly bound the split with PTFE tape, then used electrical tape to add a little strength to the repair. Closed the bonnet and the jets fired straight over the top of the van (as I'd adjusted the jets to their highest to get water to hit the screen). Result.
