Any tips/tricks/advice on removing this? Looks like a fairly straight forward job to just gently pry it off?
Haven't removed this particular piece myself but yes, usually just get a tool on one edge to pry it up and carefully work your way aroundAny tips/tricks/advice on removing this? Looks like a fairly straight forward job to just gently pry it off?
How did you get the air vents out?Glovebox removal.. Need to take the vents either side off to get at a couple of clips on each side AND remove the retaining screw that holds it in underneath, then it should just pull (hard) out.

The clips are quite meaty all the way round that panel. The screw in the light switch had me fooled for a while! Then it is mainly brute force. If its the same as the T6, take the side panel off (revealed when you open the drivers door see post #3, post #48 may help as well on the 6.1), take the panel that is above the pedals off and you should be able to look inside with a torch and a mirror to see where the fasteners are.
I've had that panel off and don't remember anything difficult about it apart from the lightswitch, there may be a screw in the hole where the switch goes if I remember correctly.
T6.1 Lower glove box trim / kick panel.
Use trim tool to pull leading edge vertically downwards towards the floor to release the four moulded clips when free slide panel towards rear of van to release moulded hook on rhs.
