Fair to say she is settled! She loves the van with its guaranteed adventures, she is more of a lab than our previous two, wolfs her food, scavs for England, possibly more loving and needy than her male predecessors? First girly dog we've had. How's the new doglet settling in?

Up and then slid down, everyone was mud covered by the end. 10 miles they tell me.. I managed to evade it by going to Worcester to see the family. Even doggo is complaining of sore muscles today, lightweights!up or down it
Great descent on the mtb. Was up there in the snow a couple of weekends ago and we are there again on Friday.Wifey, daughters and Doggo did Jacob's Ladder in Edale yesterday, they loved it!

They all loved it, sun shining, bordering on warm!Great descent on the mtb. Was up there in the snow a couple of weekends ago and we are there again on Friday.
Hope Mrs Drive Wayne enjoyed the walking. It’s stunning around there.

Miss you already....I miss not having a van. Anyone giving one away?
Looks like it has been quite a trip! Will you do a full trip report?Drove up into Finland, left the van in a carpark and went on a snowy trek up a mountain to stay in a cabin overnight, (like a Scottish bothy) Got the stove going and had pot noodles and chocolate for tea, went to bed and woke up later that night to see the northern lights, next day we went extreme sledging, think I became inverted on one jump, great fun but so so cold, only did 3 runs, View attachment 317767

Clearly not a weirdo on a road bike! My only suggestion is don't go bird watching on an MTB, it can be painful!Yesterday I stopped at Digley Res, just at the bottom of Holme Moss on my way home from biking to watch a barn owl hunting in the field.View attachment 318111
Hoping you've got some shots of that owl Si? As they say, no pictures, it didn't happen! Every one loves an owly picture!Yesterday I stopped at Digley Res, just at the bottom of Holme Moss on my way home from biking to watch a barn owl hunting in the field.View attachment 318111
No, didn't even have my binos with me. It was only 3pm and it was looking pretty wet and bedraggled sat in the field, so must have been desperate for food. But it did fly off after a couple of minutes and resume hunting.Hoping you've got some shots of that owl Si? As they say, no pictures, it didn't happen! Every one loves an owly picture!
Although that pic does look somewhat tragic now I have succumbed and put a rear mudgaurd on an Orbea Wild.Clearly not a weirdo on a road bike! My only suggestion is don't go bird watching on an MTB, it can be painful!
If only for our benefit!@Bigsidavies. Lesson learnt, I hope. You should always keep a pair of bins (or a monocular) in the van and any other car that you use as you just never know..... Within reason, even a cheapie is better than nothing.
