Gibraltar Farm Campsite. We opted for a woodland pitch that was directly next to a route which leads you through the woods, down to the cove. I’d certainly return so would definitely recommend

Stop off for brew and leg stretch at this familiar landmark on the A1, after a soggy but delightful mini-tour of Norfolk and Suffolk. Sun has come out now. Typical

8.35 in the seat which is a bit knackered and so I didn’t half feel it when I arrived at midnight.

We have come to the Brighton C&MC site for a few days. Definitely one of our favourites. Not the cheapest of course but good facilities and a great location. The tolerably near frequent bus service will this evening drop us outside the Verdict Jazz Club where we have booked in for the band.

Epic miles love it. Mine has done 102k so pleased to note old blue has a lot more miles in him yet. My mechanic said just service it well and it will run and run. Cant wait to do my first trip on the eurotunnel, always wanted to do it.

Has anyone else noticed that @Kind of Blue disappeared from the forum last summer?

Obviouly people come and go as their interest waxes and wanes, but as a previously prolific (and verbose!!!) contributor, I thought it a bid odd. I did DM him in November, just to see if all was well, but have had no response.

Bearing in mind that KoB always came across as an old-timer, that got me thinking about what happens when a forum member dies. Yes, I know, it's a very maudling subject, but it is deepest, coldest January and all the festive food goodies have now been depleted, so my mind has...

Staying at Hill House campsite in Withernwick near Hornsea. Its a CL so C&C members only. 6 to 7 hardstanding fully serviced pitches. Beautiful site with immaculate loo's and showers. Andrew one of the owners is from Leeds like me. Really friendly and helpful. We'll be coming back a few more times this year. Visited spurn point and stopped off at the crown & anchor pub for food. Free campervan stopover for 4 vans but needs a ring to save a space and asks a few drinks and food would be welcome to help maintain the car park. Food lovely. Will stay over when its a bit warmer.

West wittering yesterday and glorious sunshine. Stayed at Creative Camping for the night, had the most peaceful sleep in the van yet! We’re both ‘downstairs”
with the dog. I’m in the Duvalay, she’s in a sleeping bag with a blanket on top. Only needed the diesel heater on once. Made bacon butties in the morning for breakfast.

Trail run at Queen Elizabeth Park on the way home just now in the rain. Couple of other campers in the carpark too. Dream weekend!
