Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Yeah, not really sensible to have an open fire, you might set light to the puddles!

I thought all those new forest sites had no facilities, need to check them out again
You're right. No showers, toilets, fires. You have to bring a chemical toilet

Is that you around the back of the Church ? BYL or BVL ?
We are opposite side of graveyard @Ricardo T

Ah, nice. No , was in the Nelson on Friday and the kids were in there last night for a bit. I was still recovering from the Adnams Brewery Tour !! We are in a cottage on Victoria St, just up from the Adnams shop. Nice van you have there, in the best colour too. We go tomorrow, heading to Beccles and Yarmouth before overnight in a pub car park at Upton. Enjoy the rest of your stay

When you are at Fortrose Bay take a walk along the beach to Chanonry Point to see the dolphins. They come in about an hour after low tide to feed on Salmon in the estuary. If you are lucky they will be right in close - maybe 20 or 30 metres away. Don't drive there as the little car park at the end of the single track road will be rammed.
We normally then walk along the beach to Rosemarkie and grab a beer and some food. It's a place we go to on most of our Scotland trips - love it there.
