Well this little trip turned into a big f**k up just getting ready to go out this morning and what sounded like a rifle shot and then watch the awning slowly go down yes we have a ruptured inner and outer tube lucky it's under guarantee so popped it in on the way home.
Its the first time we have used it so reckon it was faulty
was not over inflated I normally under inflate in hot weather
Plus in the height of maximum being pissed off so don't talk to me a bee managed to get between my foot and flip flop and stung me
Other than that we had a great time

]IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE READ

Right chaps small update on the exploding airbeam
All back and nicely repaired
So today was the let's try it out day
Got the same pump out I originally inflated it with but was only going to inflate enough to make it stand on its own
So it only inflated to 1 PSI and its up tubes quite firm
Then check with another pumps pressure gauge 4 PSI so when I originally inflated to 5 PSI god knows what was actually in there
Conclusion original pressure gauge was F***ed
Awning well over inflated plus hot day
So KERBOOM
So chaps check your pressure gauges are true to reading you have been warned ⚠️

Few nights stopover but weather looks pap today so not sure what we will do. Maybe a day reading books.

Also it looks like water is leaking behind the reimo rail which is a bit worrying so will need to investigate that when we take the awning down

First time outside UK, Now in Amsterdam - about a week in this area then Bruges and finally France. Like the road quality, so far no pot holes. Roads in Netherlands interesting (as not done that before), cycle lanes as big as the road - yes I did have a little drive down one in error - lucky, it was in the middle of nowhere, I’m cautious and only saw two cyclists. Lesson learnt!

Seems like the rail is fixed, quarter turn on the screws at the front stopped the leaking. Seems they had worked loose and not knackered the threads but we will see when the awning is down and I can have a proper look

@cgtmiles I had the same with my Reimo Multi Rail but mine leaked in several places and a couple of the screws were spinning in the holes when I went to tighten them up. My solution was too size up for replacements for the spinners, take out the OK ones, fill all the holes with silicone and then screw it back down. After that, I ran a bead of silicone along the top of the rail (scruffily but it's not easily seen!). That was a couple of months ago and it's not been in any rain with the awning attached since. That said, I did pour some water along its length and it seemed OK but time will tell. Ideally, the rail really needs to come off and be refitted and sealed properly but with all the cleaning etc. I know that's going to be a pain in the aris so I'm putting it off for as long as possible.
