Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Brings back nice memories of when our fam stayed there back in 2016 in a local hotel as part of a 3,500km Euro road trip (in a Dacia Duster). Can’t wait to return in a dub van (from Oz, so will have to be a hire one). The pork knuckle and ale was legendary… eat and drink like a Bavarian barbarian!
Yesterday morning having just arrived at the Knoll NT car park in Studland Bay, Dorset. It got a bit busier as they day went on, and loads of cars parked on the roadside outside were getting ticketed....
The joys of being a NT member around that area membership fee worth it every year by not having to pay for parking
Nice to see the East Riding flag there
Omaha Beach and now Cherbourg Port ready to return to the real world of potholes, rain, "front assist/ESC Stability" repair, already booked in to Vindis from yesterday.
Looks like we're a bit early but we're sunburnt, skint and a bit festy so back to reality... and then in three weeks a week on the East coast of Scotland, hurrah!
Spent a few days here In Helmsdale.
It’s a lovely village
Great off grid pitch and new showers and public toilets.
Watched the moon pop out of the sea the other night.
Bit colder and some rain yesterday but back to hot and sunny today.
Think we’re moving on tomorrow.
No idea where yet.

We spent two days parked in that same space, but stayed overnight at the little motorhome stop near the harbour. Isn't it grest that they've built a new public toilet block with showers. We used them and they were fine.
I come here every July to fish the river for the grilse (young salmon)
I love Helmsdale
Great people and lovely place.
We were only meant to be passing through this holiday but we’ve ended up staying here.
I’m not sure if we’re going to bother moving on.
I’m back up here a week today with my laddie fishing.

Wife has decided we’re not moving she likes it here.
It is so easy with everything a short walk away
We went to Brora then Golspie beach today.
I’m super impressed with my easy deploy canopy and sides.
Really quick to set up and take down.
Also super impressed with my wee fire pit dooda.
Takes literally seconds to get going.
Just light a flamer and drop it in give it a few seconds and drop a few more in.
I let it go out when we go in then drop another flamer in every time I go out for a smoke and it fires back up again instantly.
It’s a camp fire I can switch off and on when I want.

Thanks guys. The medicos are now leaning towards it being a TIA. I'm a little weak down my left side but everything still works so fingers crossed I can still play ok, albeit sitting down.
