Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

@Bruntonpasty @Ayjay @True Romance Set off from Cumbria at 0530hrs and arrived at the apartment in Bailly-Romainvilliers at 2030hrs. My family and I are annual pass holders at Disneyland, so far we have had two days in the Parks and all of the distancing measures are being adhered to pretty well. Face masks are to be worn in the parks at all times, even the outdoor open spaces. Obviously you can take them off to eat and drink, but not whilst queuing. It wasn’t a decision that was taken lightly to come France, but the way things are looking, who knows when we will be able to come back again.

A day in the southern Cairngorms yesterday - saw a few campers parked up in Glen Doll and at the car park at the end but all unobtrusively and no mess at all to be seen. Wild camping becoming an issue up here (since COVID) with lots of mess & fire pits being left behind - we’re all under the magnifying glass at the moment.

The route up Driesh via the Scorrie ridge, the best way to avoid meeting lots of people!

The tourist route down the Corrie Fee.

Ian, I'm just back from Skye, I arrived back in the early hours of this morning. I'm up in the Highlands (hillwalking/climbing) most weeks and I've never seen so many vans parked up.
If this were to continue I think there's a risk we'd be looking at restrictions of some sort, like the Loch Lomond camping ban for example.

:( I just hope all these new campers hate their first experience and are able to all bu&&er off abroad again next year so we can get back to nearer normality.

I can't help feeling exactly the same way though I can see the difficulties with that viewpoint. It's not as if there's even anything worth seeing in Scotland.....
