Fairly new to the T6 Forum and finding it very useful ... thanks to everyone who has repled to my pleas for information ... and for every other contributor whose answers to others have guided me!
I have a T6 2018 150 2.0 diesel DSG. I've noticed a noise from the engine bay and in particular from the drivers side. The attached audio file was recorded in the wheel arch which reduced a bit of the engine noise but left the squeak. It goes away after a few minutes driving and from other posts it seems that it's related to the "idler belt tensioner".
Assumins that's actually the case ... do I need to take it to the garage (it's still under a warranty from the people I bought it from) ... or is it nothing to worry about and the garage will laugh at me!
