What Solar Panel/controller Dc-dc Leisure Battery - Have You Got ?

I am looking at this as my current panel has failed and will need to be replaced. I do not want to replace a panel every two or three years. I will probably go down the same route by using 4mm twin wall, how secure is the 3M tape? Any sign of lifting due to rain etc? Can you tell if the panel has any movement to allow for heat expansion?
The tape is holding the twin wall firm, no lifting at all. Can’t really tell if the panel is expanding but given that my panel is attached to the twin wall using the eyelets it’s free to expand and contract if needs be

How have you secured the panel to the twin wall? And how have you secured the twin wall to the roof? Did you use tape on both the panel and then on the roof? Or have you just secured the panel on the twin wall with the eyelets?

The twin wall is secured to the roof using good quality VHB tape, clean both surfaces well. The panel is attached to the twin wall through the eyelets using plastic bolts with a just little bit of VHB tape between the panel and twin wall on the leading / front edge. My thoughts on using the eyelets is that if I need to take it off it’s a two minute job to unscrew them

Looks ok,

Make sure you wire it up via the solar controller.

But my recommendation would be to swap the OEM supplied controller for a Victron 100/20 mppt.

And make sure the leisure battery connection is fused right next to the battery.

Thanks Dell, I have a fused connection from the leisure battery to the controller, is that what you mean ? Also, will the supplied controller be OK to start as don’t want to spend any more than I have to in case I go down the permanent route ?

Yes and yes.
