What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

@KR. i don’t suppose you have a link to the one you bought please? Mines a 66 plate and not sure it’s as cold as it could be and off to Europe in 3 weeks so want to see if I can make it a bit colder
Aircon Recharge Kit
There you go, there's others available but I ended up buying this one due to delivery availability.
Edit - it's a good job there's others available as I see it's now sold out. For my 66 plate I needed the R12/R134a gas and make sure you get the refill kit/gauge as well.

I saw a little tip on Ytube last night from a pro painter where you take a tiny blob of touchup paint on your finger and thinly stroke and wipe into that annoying little scratch you spotted. Then once dry you take your machine polisher, or drill with a polishing mop and buff off the excess. Repeat if the result is not good enough. And bugger me it worked. I was really pleased, as it makes a nice change when something works.

Fed up with my thermal sun shade suckers intermittently coming loose, I fabricated some ‘keep those suckers in place ACME patented thingamies’. 😊

Utilised some UPVC bull nose trim. Heated with a hairdryer, bent to shape and filed a small profile off the top corner to stop it marking the headlining.

Different profile for one behind the rear view mirror.

The thingamies can now just live in a cupboard in the van with the shades. So far works a treat and cost pennies.

I love my ‘Bremmer’ sunshades as they are so effective, but not if they fall off 🤣

Should do the trick.

Dragons den here we come 😎

Edit to say I have the THQ rubber strip at bottom of dash that stops crap falling down there and they fit snugly up against this 👍

Finally after weeks of tinkering and getting it all right, getting the right parts, a mate 3d printed me this hinge kit off printables.com. Was a bit of work, but saved 150 quid instead of paying for the THQ 3d printed one!

And then I replaced my poorly installed Camperglass window for a carbest (Reimo) one that has a flyscreen
