What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Loving the indicators in the mirrors👍🏻
Cheers pal.Im making some more with puddle lights from a tiguan this time. I've done lots of little things that you wouldn't notice unless i pointed them out. Best mod is the extra extra door seals i put on. So much quieter now

Did you do a thread on how you did the indicators? I just sold the parts for my last attempts at this based on this thread:

Added ambient lighting into the doors, COB LED strips in each pocket and a single red LED in the handle recess, wired into the switch lighting circuit so dims with dash lights, had to add a couple of resisters as wanted a bit more subtle. Tis not as bright as the camera makes out,,,

Finally had a solar panel fitted to the popup roof and switched the leisure battery over to Lithium. Chris also had a good look at what was draining the battery when left for a few days. They will remain nameless but 2 different installers had wired sockets to the live feed rather than the ignition so they were pulling amps from the main battery.
Hopefully now I have solar it will keep everything sufficiently topped up when sitting idle. Thanks to Chris at Chelmer Valley Campers 👍

Our Webasto Airtop 2000stc is over 3 years old and has never been serviced.
A great guy, Shane Hadland (MBE), who is 'Shadtech' has come to the drive to reroute my Webasto exhaust (which was attached to the underside of my now removed side steps). I thought perhaps it was time for the heater to be serviced too.
He is an ex RAF, helicopter maintenance guy who is certified by Webasto.
Seems to know his stuff, he's Midlands based currently living on a longboat in Nantwich.
I'll follow this up later when the job is complete!

No, i didn't. Sorry, but it is easy to do. The hardest part was making the line straight with the first cut. After that, I used filler to true it all up. Im making another set soon, so I will do if you want?
Where about in Yorkshire are you? Fancy making another set for me? :)
