Also started making and fitting the interior panels. Used hidden fixings from THQ ( Tip: use thick gloves! ).

The panels are clad with Milan fabric from Harrisons.( The version with a backing so have a nice slightly padded feel.).

Upper panels to high roof will have the same fabric. Also got to fit a tricky piece on the "arch" over the front seats / cab.

@ORION; Loving the contrast with the carpeting, something I did with mine, had a lighter colour on the roof..IMG_7847.webp

Removed the uppermost chrome grill strip from my Caravelle and wrapped it in matt black vinyl. Bit of a pig to get the strips off, not helped by very cheap plastic trim tools I got off eBay that basically just chewed themselves up, but an ok-ish job if you don’t look too closely!

I’ve got some blue strips coming this for the second upper strip and the lower strip so that will make a bit of a difference too.

A few jobs yesterday/today

Fitted and secured my leisure battery (electrics soon)

Used some of the spare webbing and created 2 pull straps for the rear doors. Didn't like using the van shades as a handle. Colour will be changed later, this is a proof of concept/temp measure

Removed my door from the kitchen unit. I can't fit both the fridge and door at the same time. Some thinking required here to solve the issue.

Other jobs:
Rear driver barn door stopped unlocking at the bottom. Fix3d that by reattaching the pull rod onto the arm

Sliding door adjustments to make it close better. I'm about 70% there getting this right but it is 100% better than before.

What’s the depth of the fridge and what exactly is in the way at the back. I’ve managed to fit a fridge behind a door.

479mm

It's not really the depth that is the issue, I can close the door fine.
When the fridge is opened the sides of the fridge door extends beyond the side of the fridge. The door then pushes against the cupboard door hinge and the fridge moves.

I need to either find slimmer hinges or accept the fact the fridge is not secure within the cupboard or something else I ain't thought of yet

Does it open as in the photo with that "black rubber" bit jammed in the left hand side?

Edit: I bought a fridge that the door doesn't extend beyond the side for this reason.
