What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I've never been a fan of all the big aftermarket bumpers everyone fits. It also took me 3 years to find a splitter that I liked that I don't think anyone else has, but after fitting it I wasn't sure. This led me down a path to something I've wanted to do for a long time, which again I don't think anyone has done before. So during Christmas break I broke out the plastic welder, filler and copious amounts of sand paper and made my own bumper. Its subtle, but makes a massive difference. I also fitted my freshly refurbished wheels.

Looks rather basic compared to some I've seen on here, but I'm sure it'll grow. Plan is to have hookup charger under the passenger seat. Then 12V cables going back to feed a 12V fusebox

That's a really good start. Very neat. Slow progress is better when it comes to electrics. It's all the planning and prep and triple checking that matters. Keep us updated.

Nice.. are these sprayed, covered or bought as is?
Hi stu, covers painted. Black buttons for lights removed from a golf mk7 light cluster. Airbag and sos buttons from a skoda I believe.

Dubhaus has a 'how to' on his build thread. I used this to make my one.

@Vedubber. I put some of those on our acapulco blue T6 not long after we bought it. When they first went on, I wasn't sure about the look so I left them for a couple more weeks but still wasn't convinced so they came off and went in the bin.
