Fitted the rear spoiler. Fits in places, other areas are a bit gappy but overall it’s fine

Added a second set of interior lights in the roof lining so it matches side to side, just need to plug pins to turn up from Amazon and they can be connected.

Trimmed the A pillars in carpet to match the rest of the van as they were looking tired and grubby.

Finally got a steering wheel that fits from a 2018 polo.

Decided it was time to dump the fresh water and give the tank a bit of a check. All seems good but water was not the best.

Not just today but had a busy few weekends.

Fitted sound deadening, insulation, folding seat bracket.
Today I fitted an Alpine Halo 9 after my oem screen broke.

Laid out the ply floor and rails I bought a while ago, along with a row of 3 seats to go in them, and found these pads glued to the van floor. Not sure if it’s sound deadening or insulation, but fills up all the flat spots people generally put battens, so makes a level floor with a bit of give. Anyone seen this before, or does it look like an aftermarket addition? Oh….and bogged and painted door cards to make it look a bit nicerer. Used to be a painter’s van.

Fixed a side bar that was hanging loose due to the mounts working their way out - rubbish design all round really.
Only noticed last week.

Hopefully they hold this time as I did it in the pissing rain today as I have a habit of not waiting.

Had a new head unit & reversing camera fitted a couple of days ago to replace the knackered VW original. A Kenwood DMX9724XDS lovely big screen all works a treat! Really neat installation.

Got my two Audi A6 S-line seats fitted up front. Driver's one is static and passenger one swivels on a lowered Clearcut base. I like how they look and they're very comfy. We might try one trip with this set up before commiting to selling the double seat.
There were a cheap buy from a breaker's yard so still need a good clean and some conditioning.
Now I just need to work out what's going to sit between the seats; probably some form of storage +/- somewhere for the dog to lie.

Whilst driver's seat was off I was able to change my leisure battery for a Roamer lithium one. Staightforward swap and easy to update the different chargers I'm using. Also managed to get the app working from my headunit for monitoring.
