What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Cleaned and removed the rust from the lower sliding door roller, cleaned it right back and a few coats of direct to rust Hammerite Ultima white. Then I applied sound deadening after all steps after cleaning them(thanks to the previous electrician owner for the wall plugs and drill bits, and old screws!). Lastly sound deadening under the bonnet.

Ordered some 3cm wide paint protection film tape, then should protect the new paint :)

Great idea, I have a bit of wasted space there! Anyone got any spare graphite coloured carpeting?!
It's pretty easy to template - the hardest bit probably being working out the true level of the shelves because the side of the van is at a significant angle at this point - we have quite a camber, so I tool a visit to Toolstation for a perfectly level spot.

Added this to my windscreen today which of course now makes me officially old, after hitting 60 just before Xmas (how the eff did that happen ?!)
Anyway, love to talk but need to collect some free prescriptions and book an eye test......

Did you have one hanging around, or did you request it?

I didn't think they sent one with the handbook anymore?

Came with a new members pack although it specifically states the stickers is no longer needed for free parking as its now QR verification @CAB

Same as you mate....younger wife (mines a non-drinker too)
Uh-oh, I'm the junior partner in my marriage, so...

There may be trouble ahead
But while there's moonlight and music and love and romance...
let's dance. 💃🤵‍♂️

Make sure you update with your opinion on it @davecdjt . Been looking at these myself 👍🏼
Will do. It’ll get a good work out tomorrow with Apple Maps in a trip to Somerset.
I wrote that line yesterday and apparently didn’t post it. Apple Maps worked without a hitch today driving to Somerset. More driving tomorrow (when it will just be my wife and myself in the van) so I’ll play with audible and Siri and messages etc to see if anything hesitates or fails on the road.

Looks good. how are you finding the Comfoser tyres? Noise, MPG, grip and ride etc?

Thinking of a similar set of wheels and tyres on my 6.1 van.
Just got back from a few days in the van. The cobra lift spring kit and uprated rear spring cups have made a massive difference to body control through bends, comfort and its not got a saggy backside anymore. The comforser tyres are impressive. Hasn't changed the mpg or increased road noise compared to my 20's. Plenty of grip and increased comfort over poor road surfaces. I'd thoroughly recommend them. All in all I'm mighty impressed and wont be going back to my 20's as much as I love them.

How have you got the charger 1 integrated in to your leisure battery setup. I've a similar leisure battery/bluetti set up but not finalised a charging method for the bluetti
I have wired in similar to these videos

Re-wired some sections today powering Charger 1 from the leisure battery and it's all working fine. I might not even fit the solar as only using as a day van I'll just run the wiring in as van is still in bits and see how goes.😊
