Was going to comment that I hadn't realised they weren't on every van, though that view was based on a statistically dodgy sample size of a single kombi - i.e. mine.

They probably cost VW about £1 to buy in - how could you possibly expect them to include one as standard fit on a panel van?

Because it makes the Van lighter and you save fuel, CO2 and plastic waste.

I suppose they ask themselves why would the cosmetic appearance of a hidden door roller mount matter on a panel van?

Swapped out my original Ablemail AMT12-2 for a new AMT12-2B, Bluetooth version with app control. So far, so impressed...

Also doing a doing a gentle deep discharge of the Roamer 230Ah battery to recalibrate. Should be down to zero by tomorrow for a full gentle recharge.

It is indeed. The worst part is unscrewing and reattaching the unit itself, it’s a pretty ghastly job!

Fitted some H7's along with LED drl's.

All I can say is that b*****d hidden trim fixing inside the wheel arch is a t@!t to get out, especially in freezing sleet. Bumper off is one job I hopefully don't have to do again !
