These are the ones I had that rotted away completely along the undersides

How long did they last before rotting away? They are covered by a 12 months warranty. I've also got front mud flaps so fingers crossed.

Last 7 days of work.
Fitted Ovano table holder and a spring clasp to silence a couple of annoying rattles.
Washed it out of shame prior to Autumn Camp.
Been in for glow plug #2 and #3 replacement.

They were on about 20 months. With flaps. But the van is very low and assume that the scuffing on sleeping policemen caused the powdercoat to come off exposing bare metal.
Though I find that veedub resell a lot of what can be bought from china à la AliExpress etc. See the centre console they sell for £170 that they buy from AliExpress for less than £40.

Treated the local garage to £740 to do a dsg gearbox oil change, full service.....runs better.....alot of money but im no mechanic....

What a b*****d of a job. Chopped the old rusting round side bars and fitted these stainless steel bars. Every bolt was corroded and snapped off. Got there in the end. Not much fun doing this on the driveway. Looks pretty cool though.

Peeled the chrome badge and the crappy Transporter letters off and stuck my black and grey badge on that I had on the old van. Looks so much better now

Head unit upgrade, speaker upgrade, door insulation and foam with reversing camera.

Alpine Halo 9 (9" screen) with the speaker kit and camera. Might get a sub installed at a later stage but the sound is very good as is.

First major change done. Very happy.

Put the recently-purchased AdBlue in, now good for 5500 miles.

Fitted RIB swivel to passenger side. Not even moved the van and I’m unsure about it.

Removed the 100W Flexi Solar panel that came with the van, it has given up after 8 years so not too bad!
Need to clean the roof and remove all traces of the bonding adhesive, next step fit a 150W rigid Solar panel over the next couple of weeks
