What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Looking good Jack .
Love yellow fogs but not sure it works so well on white šŸ¤” maybe the clear lenses keep everything looking cleaner/ brighter with the white .
Any before and after comparison pics ?
Did you use film ? (Laminex or similar) .
Cheers mate, yeah just a tinting film, still unsure myself. Sometimes i kove how they look, other times think they dont look so good šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
I didnt take a before, may have one on my phone somewheee though will have a look.

Gone for a wheel upgrade (or downgrade, depending on how you look at it).

20" Leightons replaced with 18" Supermetal Cell with Falken AT tyres. Really pleased, no louder than the Uniroyals, ride improved no end, and I can now replace my destroyed wheelarch liners!

Looks very nice! What size tyres did you go for?

I spray up the inside of my bars yearly a lonolin anti corrosion soesy and theyre still mint.

That said, I dont know for sure that they aren't adtually stainless

Did you use the Holts Headlight refurb kit? I used it and was less than impressed. The spray is just silicon spray so just washes off. Looks like you did ok with the sanding though.
I used 3M uv lens coating wipes to coat my lights and they look loads better.

I used some of the 3m wipes today and can concur. A much better result.

The below image is 15 days from using the Holts Headlight refurb kit. As you can see the silicone based spray 'lacquer' is completely shot. I gave it a good clean back with IPA and water and re sanded (wet & dry) and even that was clearer before 3m wipe application - see second photo.

Depends on the grade of stainless steel to be fair. Looking at all of the stainless steel kitchen knives hanging on their magnetic rack in our kitchen. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
That’s right. Depends on the structure, iron content etc. But in the case of your knives, it’s probably the hardening process.
