What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

We bought a couple of the windscreen wash filler cap/funnels for our vehicles and they do indeed make filling with windscreen wash a whole lot more joy, None spiled at all! very easy job to do. Needed to rotate to achieve the best position and that was it. Bought from Amazon very cheaply. Wish that I had known about them when we bought the vehicle, never mind, its good now!

The other thing that I fitted was a cover for the rear windscreen wiper arm. The old one became easily detached and then eventually displaced. This was not easy to do took half an hour just would not go on properly. Studied it and eventually managed to fit and it is safely on and not likely to come off but appears not to fit quite correctly. Something is not quite right perhaps it was meant for another vehicle. Maybe, anyway we had ordered two at the time just in case their was problem.

I visited @CRS Performance on Friday to have their Definition kit fitted. Was mainly after improved comfort and an improved "driving experience." The van was on standard shocks and springs with a full permanent camper conversion in place. The ride was pretty bad, pitching and rolling a lot.

Opted for a minimal 40 mm drop just to balance the front with the rear, it's looking right now. The difference in the drive is instantly.... Fantastic! As soon as I set off out of the garage, you can get the difference. Now I've done some lengthier journeys, it's really settling in. It just makes it feel much more like it should really, as if that's how VW should have sent it out the forecourt in the first place! Highly recommend going for it if sitting on the fence.

Was a bit nervous it would be rock hard, but no need to fear! And the customer service is great, job done on a couple of hours, although I was able to go for a ride at Cannock whilst the van was in. All in all, well worth it. Before and after below

That’s ridiculous! It’s like a mirror!!!
Mirror in a spray bottle lol. Simoniz quick detailing spray. I've used far more expensive products in the past but this is dead easy to apply, relatively cheap and the results speak for themselves. I keep a bottle in both my cars and the van. Fantastic stuff. Removes water spots after washing too.
