Not if you have an annual policy, but you are limited to the number of days away per trip.
So you could do a trip without a planned return and just book that when ready to come home (so long as it’s within the max permitted).
I don’t understand the logic of not having travel insurance. It’s cheap, for what it covers, and unless you’re a multi millionaire who doesn’t care about money it prevents the chance of some eye watering costs.

I travelled through some of the roughest places on the planet all year for 25 years with insurance and never needed it.
I have to change brake pads and discs on monday, so I've also bought a set of steel-braided lines (HAL). Will see if there is any diff (the ATE disc + pads will already make a diff) but as I have increased hp now (and summer trip is soon) I will do complex for breaks. I wish I could afford the calippers swap now
