What Have You Bought Today?

So you posted this without watching my video that shows it’s not true?
Does the method you posted actually change the speedo reading though?
I had my 6.1 done the previously documented way and was a bit dubious of this really simple way, when it was originally posted on here, actually changes the speedo as it seems too easy in comparison and I can’t remember seeing it actually being confirmed.

With thanks/blame resting on 'influencer' @Sackmycook 's shoulders, the NHS (wifey) has purchased our new go to air awning, the Kampa Cross Air drive away (which we will probably never do).
We will only use it where there is enough space, certainly not the shanty town that is the forum section at Camperjam! For smaller/tighter pitches we will carry on with our Outwell Touring Shelter Air.
£349 split over 12 months IFC, it's bordering on free!

Blue Diamond Heavy Duty Steel Metal Tent Awning Groundsheet Pegs- Box Of 15 https://amzn.eu/d/0iGHoAoI
I've literally just ordered a box of 20 groundsheet pegs off A-Z as well! Was looking at Debus awnings / accessories, and thought the drive away parking marker was a good idea - but I can just use some luminous guy ropes that I've already got, plus some cheapo plastic round head pegs. Also ordered some C-channel clamps to stop the awning sliding out of position when putting up / re-connecting the drive away tunnel.

Holding off on the Debus sun canopy with front and side panels for now - looking at windbreaks instead, to use in combo with the existing Debus canopy. (GoOutdoors have a decent looking Vango one for around 50 notes).

the new debus sun canopy took a hammering over the last two days, i was the one that bottled it at 45mph winds and took it down but it was holding well

Finally got round to buying and fitting a spare wheel/tyre to the underbelly of my 2024 T6.1 Caravelle. Still can't believe that a brand new vw from factory doesn't come with a spare as standard. Bought a 'Spare Safe' anti theft device to deter buggers trying to nick it!

Good film that.
Just before he meets the queen there. He shouts F*ck the queen :rofl:
Was a bit of an oversight putting him in ear shot of the microphone at those tv awards though

I now have the standard debus sun canopy and the air canopy with the sides and front and I’d say they are 2 completely different beasts but if you are going to bother with windbreaks then skip that and just buy the air canopy instead. Personally if I had to choose I’d go for the standard sum canopy

thats the first time I've seen this video. I've just tried it on mine and it accepts and saves the change ok but the speedo still under reads by 5% no matter what i change it to? is there something else i need to do as well?

To be honest, I only did it to test if it could be reversed. I’ve never felt the need to test further as my speedo matches sat nav.

It seems strange that it doesn’t have an effect. I can’t see any point to it being there otherwise.
@mmi any ideas?
