Not bought, but been given. And not today, but yesterday (my birthday). A Nebula Capsule 3. Intended use was for in the van, but I tried it in the house and garden and the whole family were extremely impressed, with lots of talk of al fresco movie nights in the summer.
When using in the van I envisage being seated in the rotated captains chairs, a screen afixed to the rear tailgate and the Nebula mounted to the ceiling. It's a day van without a pop top. Has anyone done anything similar and/or suggestions for a screen (I think about 110cmx70cm) and means of mounting to ceiling. I'd like the mount to be as discrete as possible and imagine will need to be slanted slightly, so wondering about tapering a piece of Hex ply and securing to the ceiling panel with M5 bolts to which the Nebula screws into a 1/4 in thread.
MTIA.

That floor installation could be a tad improved.Just did an 9hr round trip to collect my Mobiframe floor and rear seat bed.

Do you have a link for the GoPro adjustable angle arm with 1/4 mount, please.Sorry for the delay, only just read this. We have had a projector set up in all our vans since 2019.
I just fitted a Go Pro metal "shoe" to the ceiling then a removeable GoPro adjustable angle arm with 1/4 mount on the end for the projector

Simply slide out when not in use so nothing hanging to catch your head! Just set the projector for inverted mode.
I had 2 x very small hooks in the roof panel / pop top base onto which we hung a Duronic 40" widescreen 16:9 screen when needed
The distance was set exactly so the projector "filled" the entire screen
16:9 looks a LOT better than a 4:3 screen BTW. We also have a 60" Duronic screen for the awning if required. They are a bargain!!
When not in use you would never know there was a projector setup in the van.
Pic here from our previous T5.1 ( cheap amazon projector at the time but still WAY better than a TV )
We will be having a similar system in the new T6.1 high top project.

Very nice. I am hoping to get mine fitted next weekend. I am currently trying to get use of a large indoor garage space

I read that too, but now we have Captain VCDS to combat all issues! Have you sussed it yet @Bav ?i thought i read somewhere that on t6.1 you could only change the wheel sizes in the s/w once then it gets locked to that size?

Pretty sure I made it up from a cheap Amazon universal kit like this:Do you have a link for the GoPro adjustable angle arm with 1/4 mount, please.
Many people relying on you matey, well I certainly am, and happy to make a contribution for your efforts (which could come in handy one day). Genuinely proud of you for doing something I've wanted to do, but truthfully a bit scared!
