What Have You Bought Today?

Not bought today, but fitted today. A starter battery for just over £100. An Exide EK820. TBH, it wasn't a make I recognised, but it was one the independent garage recommend. Unfortunately the price their supplier charges was nowhere near the online price so they suggested I purchase and they install. They've also resolved and oil sensor warning and start stop not working.

Not bought or fitted but arrived today:
IMG_6862.webpReplacement lights that Colin at 8 ball campers was kind enough to send through free of charge (6 years after conversion!) as the old ones were failing (plus some new stickers to freshen mine up )

Originals look like this:

A bit worried that the new ones will be too bright when firing on all cylinders!

Great service! Love a good bit of (very) aftersales!

Paid for a months worth of Carista, £15 now, used to be a tenner! £59 for the year, the occasional use I need is cheaper than a years worth.
I usually have 4 easily resettable faults but following my waterlogged window switches I had 5, easily reset now it's dry.
Check the DPF health, such a useful gadget for folk scared of VCDS.

Might turn up eventually if it's Evri....

Was talking to our Evri guy the other day. If the driver is on holiday or sick for more than a few days, they will show the parcel as 'in depot' or 'delivered' so that they can hit targets. The pile up will build at the depot and the returning driver has to gradually work through it

I've found evri to be great, yodel I don't rate. I think it's all area dependent

Not today……Wife brought me a Resin tank and Tulsion mb115 resin for my birthday….today I set it up and used her Digital water tester which when tested read 164 ppm for tap water and after the resin tank 0 ppm…..it’s really for cleaning the van but I’m sure she wants me clean the house windows

Ha ha! Evri have kindly left my new Renogy solar panel outside my (closed) work this evening.

Newbie forum member and newbie Caravelle owner. It’s not been a trouble free purchase. I’m over the big stuff, intercooler, turbo issues and ultimately a new DPF.

I’m now onto the little bits. So a new door mirror bracket bush for the lopsided drivers mirror and a in dash USB socket have been ordered.

There’s going to be lots more purchases incoming.

Welcome to us all @BigBlackShed , let's hope the next purchases are for vanity and not necessity!
