Not van related but thought this would give you guys a good laugh.
My new fishing jacket has arrived.
Now who the F has a head big enough to fit that hood?
Fortunately it has lots of adjustments on it so I’ve got it no bad.

How’s that treating you? Is it loud? I’m debating that in my system in lieu of a Victron ip65 model as they are half the price!I use LiFePO4 Charger (Fogstar Drift) - 12V 20A but any battery changer should work as long as its designed for your battery type.
Good stuff that Anusol, hope you get betterer...Todays haul .

So since I've upgraded to a 230ah battery and bigger solar I've not really used to much. But I will more as the winter months roll it.How’s that treating you? Is it loud? I’m debating that in my system in lieu of a Victron ip65 model as they are half the price!
That sounds good to me. I like your Jackery set up, what made you get one ?So since I've upgraded to a 230ah battery and bigger solar I've not really used to much. But I will more as the winter months roll it.
I use it in a slightly unique way in that I have it hooked up to a jackery which I can turn on remotely when I need too. I basically go shore power to Jackery, Jackery to Fogstar using the 20a charger. But I could plug it into my invertor or 240v socket in the van its just I can't control those remotely.
Sound wise for sure when it spins up first off it makes a noise, and you can for sure hear it when its running. I'd say think of a normal desk fan on medium speed. You wouldn't want it on at night but it's never really bothered me in the day. When charging my 105ah battery it was never on that long so again not a real problem.
I can record a video tomorrow if you want?
I really need to get ours back up and running!
I use it for my off grid 240v. Run kettle, air fryer etc on it. I've only just rewired my van to include an invertor. The state of the vans electrics when I got it, it made sense to just buy and all in one to get me through the first 12 months before I figured out the full setup I wanted. That sounds good to me. I’d appreciate a video if it’s not too much hassle, for half price I’ll put up with some noise (not that my kids aren’t louder anyway)

Sure that’s not the heater?Video here
So it is loud. The phone camera maybe makes it seems a little louder when pointed directly at it. As I say you wouldn't want it on at night or when you are trying to chill as such but for the price and quick charge use case I personally have no issue.
I reckon it would warm a finger or 2.Sure that’s not the heater?
Although actually I think the fan on my heater is a bit quieter than that!
I appreciate the video ! It does seem loud but like you said for the amps and price it offers it seems a good pay off.Video here
