VW All in plan .. again

Had my Major service today and class 7 MOT (T32)
£575.00 😳.
Was gonna purchase the All in one today too but he said I can’t as my warranty hasn’t yet run out and can’t purchase till mine run out.
Anyway on the phone he said good news!
VW have emailed him today and a Black Friday deal is coming. No prices yet but defo a saving on the current £1104.
Booked in 3 warranty jobs.
Heated screen has a few elements not working on passenger side.
Sportline wing badges come unstuck and rear tailgate spoiler buckles under hot sun.
Thought I’d mention those bits but he said bodywork parts is covered for 6 years anyway.
Great service from my dealer. Even offered me a free 48 hr trial in an ID buzz and offered to buy my van for what I bought it for 🤣👍🏼

Went to main dealer this week.
Mainly for them to check my heated screen.
Got 3 warranty jobs booked in before my 3 years is up before I take on the All in.
Windscreen isn’t covered on all in so getting a genuine VW badged screen going in once my Sportline wing badges come in in 3-4 weeks.
Left VW and I heard a flapping noise and when I got back to work I noticed my near side was missing 🤣
Rear spoiler buckles in the suns heat too. Body shop job apparently.
Once all stuff is in I’m allowed to have a Buzz to drive so will report back on one of those.

Yep VW Specialist near me - £239 + £49 MOT (minor) plus £349 + £49 (major) = £686.

If you just turn up at the local VW dealer, minor service and MOT is about £480.

Presumably this is why Rachel Reeves thinks we have too much money "down South"

Every time I try to add a new plan (mine expires in January) it says I already have a plan.

Is there a way to add a new plan to an existing one?

Thanks

I was told by my dealer you can’t have 2 warranty’s at the same time. One has to run out then you can start another.

As above have said. You have to end the agreement then take out a new one. Im having a service from a previous plan done on the 1st December just to use it up. Then on the spot, start a new all in plan as this deal finishes on the 2nd

Keep in mind that using up all the elements in service plan will not "cancel" it - you still have to ring up and cancel it and it takes a day to show up as cancelled.

I had to sit on the phone for about an hour in the dealer to get VW Warranty to (a) authorise the "early" use of my serivce credit because they wouldn't take the dealers word for it and then (b) cancel the plan so I could take out the All In the next day. They very nearly got it wrong and at one point asked me to confirm that I wanted to cancel the plan without using the service credit...

So make sure you're ready as there's a very fine timeline, you have to wait for the dealer to claim the cost of the service on the 1st, then ring up and cancel the same day, then hope there is no glitch so your account doesn't show a service on the 2nd

I just called VW customer service - 0370 010 2080 and cancelled my plan that ends on 31/12/25 and taken out a new one to make the savings. I had already used both services and dont use VW for my MOT so had two of them unused. The lady said leave it an hour however I am impatient and was able to immediately buy a new All In Plan online the moment we hung up on the phone.

Did you have any payments left to make?
