VW All in plan .. again

Sorry, only just read this bit. I don't know, but I can't see why JCT6000 would object - presumably they'd still get their cut from VWFS(?). If there's a cooling-off period in your agreement, it might be worth giving them a call (01274 863777).
So after speaking with JCT apparently that lower All In premium doesn’t exist @Bav….compooter says no!! Natalie said that Vwfs set the premiums and when she checked the system they are currently £46pm. Maybe that’s an out of date example?

Well, the leaflet I pictured was left was on the table in their customer waiting area and I discussed those specific numbers and availability with... wait for it...

It's no skin off my nose - my van isn't eligible until next year - but they have asked for feedback, so I may mention her 'inconsistency'.

Nope, though I haven't looked to be fair. Plan was actually 24 x £34.40 - the £36.50 figure was me misremembering.
Hi All, thanks for the replies. Well, in the usual fashion, I bit the bullet at just the moment our 3yr initial warranty expired. We are now the "proud" owners of the All-In, 2yr policy. The cost was £46 x 24 months, which gives us 2 Services, 2 MOTs, 1 Pollen Filter, 1 Air filter, 1 spark filter / fuel filter change, 2 yrs extended warranty, 2yrs Roadside Assistance. Safe travels ye all....

By my abacus, that means that the actual warranty costs you £200ish for 2 years. If it covers anything useful that is a good deal. (But don't tell them I said that)
APPROXIMATELY..... (so no shouting I missed out 75p)

1100 cost.

Service@ 250 each = 500
filters @ 100 = 100
AA @100 per year = 200
MOT @ 50 each = 100

I just took this out last week. Booked in for a major service which is £400 in Oldham Vw center and Mot so I reckon we are winning at them prices

VW quoted £160 (vans) for their Roadside Assistance, which in fact is via AA. Cars are £120.

It certainly makes buying a 3 year and 11 month old van with 80k miles a lot more of an attractive proposition.

Does anyone know if the ABT Transporter qualifies for the All In Warranty?

EDIT: It appears not.

I didnt ask. Just found an ABT T6 for sale, entered the reg at the all in site, and it said contact your local dealer.
When I tried a regular T6 reg of the same year it offered me the plan.

What is the justification for that??
Hardly surprising surely?

Take a Transporter and strip out the engine, replace with an electric motor and (completely inadequate) battery pack.

It's not VW that did that, even if they did then sell it.

Sorry, didn't realise the ABT was Electric. Thought it was a tuned up engine with cool body kit...

Actually -
After reading more of the forums posts you can see their game plan -
The warranty may or may not be a great deal. The rest of this post might be very obvious to alot of you, but it wasn't to me till reading through some threads.
Firstly - it ties you into going to a VW dealer if anything is wrong with the vehicle - a lot of stuff isn't covered but you pretty much have to suck it and see or the warranty isn't likely to be honoured. Also you have to have the brake fluid bled by them every 2 years etc etc - also not covered - nor is the aircon recharge or windscreen washer fluid topup etc etc (all of which you will be charged for at a 'free' service). So make sure you top up Adblue/windscreen washing fluid before you take it in.
Secondly - if it isn't a straightforward fix, you have to fork out £180ish for a diagnosis which may or may not find something and that may or may not be covered by the warranty.

The only advantages are that if it is something like gearbox fail (unlikely in 5 year old vehicle) or cambelt snaps in less than whatever mileage they say then that is/might be covered. A bit unsure whether clutch/DMF is covered or not. Or master/slave cylinders.
Also if you end up getting towed into the dealership you are 'more of a priority' - whether that means much might depend on the dealership.

So - if you haven't got a reliable VAG equipped independent that you trust, may be it is worth the AllinOne.
I'm sitting on the fence at the moment. If they were to offer it with the 20% discount then I might take it up (saving £100 per year for 2 years which is less than the pollen/air filters that also aren't included - or are they?)

Let me know if I have missed anything obvious though as I am only going with what I have read and remembered from reading posts on this forum - so don't take the above as pure truth.

There is usually a Black Friday deal if you want to wait.

My All In Plan runs out at the beginning of August and my van is now too old to renew it. That said, I'm not sure that I would have done even were I allowed to. I've posted elsewhere on the forum about my Adblue issue which was the only thing that I have used All In for since I've had it and whereas VW were supposed to have fixed it with a software update (which probably took a few man / woman / person minutes of workshop time), it didn't work and the van is going back to the dealer next week for them to have another go. They have already made noises about charging me for the diagnosis work but I hinted very politely that they should do one as all they're doing is looking at a problem that they should already have already failed to fix. I also told them that I wanted everything carefully logged in the even that they can't fix it the second time around and I have to go back again after the warranty expires.
One thing that I won't miss about not having the All In plan is having to do a near 100 mile round trip every time it needs to go to the workshop. I've got a couple of independent VW specialists not far from me both of whom have good reputations so I'll be going to one of them for future work. Mind you, when I came to get the cam belt and water pump replaced a while ago, one of them wanted more money to do the job than the aforementioned VW dealer.

Best money you’ll ever spend - just had a new DMF fitted foc.
Saved me £1000’s over the years
Renewed it twice now but the van will be too old for a third time in October😥
