Victron dc dc charger setup.

Hi everyone I have installed a Victron disc charger into my 2018 t6

I’m having a nightmare setting it up, and cannot get an output charge from it

could someone help me with set up?

Post some pics of the app.settings and unit install.

Are you using an IGN feed or the Auto Run feature.

How are you monitoring any output?


Fyi . . . Victron have a dedicated document on the website for this unit and setup.

Just trying to make heads and tails of it

install is just power in from main battery. Earth cable.
power out to AGM leisure battery and earth.

using the app to monitor it.

currently just have the default settings in the app

So I’m heading North on my vans near maiden voyage to the outer Hebrides. Anyway I thought I would check my charger is performing and it appears it’s turned off as it’s not detecting the engine. I’m pretty sure it had been working, could anybody hazard a guess as to what’s occurring...

Is it setup as a Converter or Charger?

What are the LEDs doing?

Status LED (Green LED)

• LED off:
  • No input voltage
  • Remote shutdown;
  • Shutdown by the user;
  • Connector over-temperature protection
  • User defined under voltage lock-out
  • Engine off detected (when in Charger mode)
• LED on:
  • Output active on Power supply mode
  • Charger in Float State (Battery charged);
• LED Blinking at 1.25Hz:

• Charger in Bulk or Absorption State (Battery is being charged);
BLE LED (Blue LED)
• LED off:
• No input voltage;
• LED Blinking at 0.33 Hz:
• Error – needs to be checked on VictronConnect;
• LED Blinking at 1.25 Hz
• Connected via Bluetooth

• LED Blinking at 2.5 Hz: • Identify;
• LED Blinking once every 5 seconds:

• Charger off due to non-error conditions as:

• Remote shutdown;
• Shutdown by the user;
• User defined under voltage lock-out;
• Engine off detected (when in Charger mode);

• LED on
• All other conditions

set up as a charger... so im now getting an output on the app (13v input 11.4v output) but it wont change from bulk charge. and the leisure battery isnt charging.
ill check what the light is doing, but i think it was flashing green
