ULEZ: Euro6 or wait for Euro7

I've got a t6.1 coming but I've already got a euro 6 t6 coming
I keep thinking I'm wasting my money on a new van if in a year or so euro 6 becomes the equivalent of a 5 now .
I'm pretty close to the proposed ulez expansion and don't want to waste money when I could just keep what I've got.
Anyone know how long euro 6 has got

But does that mean euro 6 will not be low emission zone compliant . If so people who get a 6.1 now will only get 2 years without having to pay

With all the monitoring in place you can expect a continuous narrowing of the free entry. It’s all about money.
