Well, finally come up against this enforcement..
Any one know if it is possible to opt-out?.

I have tried all setting adjustments that I am aware off...
Check/uncheck
All Cookies allowed
ISP unrestricted..

Still sites are blocked..
I understand the reasons and agree but there should be setting or opt-out.

Use a vpn? Or as a final straw use the Tor browser, let's you go anywhere but does get a bit slow and no good for streaming video

Try uninstalling any extensions in your browser
Try a different browser completely
If you are on a ‘safe’ network (like in a school or workplace) it can be implemented by the network admin and you cannot disable it

If it’s been turned on by your ISP then there’s not much you can do other than contact them and request it’s turned off

To much use of the "incognito" function?

Does it do from all devices when connected to home broadband ie phone and laptop ?
If so then it sounds like your ISP has activated it for some reason

I have changed sky brordband shield to no resrtictions,but no change.. chrome etc revert back to safe-search.
Will have to ring them monday see if I can get it off.
