Tyre Width?

I've managed to purchase some new allows, they came with 255/40/20 & 285/40/20 tyres.

The kombi is lowered on B14s

I'm aware I need to change the front set as they are only load rated to 101Y, so the replacements need to be 265/40/20 104Y

The rear set are 285/40/20 104Y, can someone advise if 285 is to wide for the rears and will rub on the sliding door when opening?

How wide and what's offset (ET) of your rear wheels? That will determine how far out your wheel and then your tyre will stick

As said above, i run 275 on a 9.5" rear ET35 + 10mm spacer and there is no issues

I'm going to be running a 9.5 rear.... I suppose the only way to find out is to fit them

Can't see you having an issue..... I've got a decent amount on clearance

@YESBOY you won't be disappointed with the b14s...the handling is so much better, less body roll but no compromise to comfort and less bouncy bouncy .....kombi feels planted and more car like.

I have the chance of changing offset so should I look to change slightly ?
I want them quite flush on rear but without any rubbing issues

Can I fit a 265/40/20 tyre to an 8.5 Front alloy without having any issues?

The chart shows its to big but I've spoken to lots of tyre shops over past few weeks and I've gone with 275 on a 9j rim every body said it will be fine ?
Let's hope so at £250 each !!!!

I just hope mine don't hang over to much I just needed 275/35 to get load rating !! Maybe 265/40 would of been better !! All ordered now !!
