Traction Control - ESC/ASR & HDA switch retrofit

Thanks Ray.
Would you mind to post wiring diagram as I want to retrofit this switch?

i didnt work out coding yet

if someone with a T6 which has the button already could post a scan it would help

I'm interested in this little mod too.
I take my van off road (fields) with my trials bikes and I've found in the past that turning it off helps.

Hope someone can help with the coding?

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
Just to double check, can you please confirm that all 3 above had a factory fitted traction disable switch

Yes. Two top ones 100% both with this setup (including diff lock and hill decent).
EDIT: these also have TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System activated from the factory)

I am almost certain the third being 4Motion also has the left button but the other two missing. This one was a reference van for hunting down 4Motion failures so did quite a few miles on that but didn't explicitly record this feature - unfortunately.

Hill descent will prob affect the coding, think we need some plain 4 motions to look at
I have loads of scans of T6s but the only couple I know have 4motion are calis, not sure how this would affect the coding ?
I’m thinking modules 1 & 3 ??

A plain one - button for traction control yes, diff lock no, TPMS no, hill decent no.

PS. Up here traction control button is now (MY19) a new factory option for FWD T6. Not too expensive - 30 euros .

Hope this helps.

I found out how to to turn traction control off on a 17 t6
Turn on hazard lights.
Turn ignition key on but don't start engine.
Depress accelerator 5 times.
You should hear a beep and traction control should light up on dash.
Start engine and drive off.
Hazards have to stay on whole time.
To deactivate turn hazards off.
Hope this helps.

As above, it's crucial that you leave your hazard lights on, otherwise it re-activiates straight away. OK to get you out of a situation tho.

I have the coding, send me a pm tonight to remind me and I will send it when I’m back from work

Well done. Can you share how you did it?
I have all the details etc but I’m a little reluctant to put up info in public that could lead to safety implications with the vehicle.

2WD vans do not have the option to have this installed from the factory, is there a reason for this ??

Also remember there are differences between model years so installation/coding could vary between vehicles
