I have a sealey manual vacuum extractor. The main benefit is getting say 5L into the extractor so my 9L drain pan doesn’t get overwhelmed. I do like to pull the sump plug for the last bit just in case there is debris to flush out!

Only managed to pull about 3 litres with the electric pump before it started sputtering drawing air and the pipe is 1 meter BUT it's a hard nylon type and I'm thinking once it exits the dipstick pipe into the sump it must be curling up above the oil level.
Is the Sealy pipe pvc?
I did use it to decant 7l from a 20l drum into 2 x 4l containers and it was great for that but a fail so far getting it out the engine.
There is another pvc pipe that I'll try another time but that's also curled up so I'll flatten out 1st before trying with that.
This is the pump. Says 1-3l per minute. No chance. More like 0.5l per minute.
