Team Cherry Red

Cool, I’m going to get booked in for that. I’ve got the usual window blinds but also the additional VW blinds that formed part of the ‘goodnight’ pack but no idea how they work.

Just torn now over whether to de-chrome or embrace it. The gloss black works really well with red, mine is Indium grey so the chrome is less offensive. I need to make a decision so I can order side and roof bars!
It wasn’t a lot of money. Local place to me did it for like £180 all in. See if you can find other examples of the grey/black or grey/chrome to help make the decision I’m sure if you go on the indium grey thread you’ll be able to see both options. Keeping the chrome will help with keeping the cost down

Hello 'Team Cherry Red - I hope you are all safe and well. I would like to update as I have done a few bits since I was on here last.
I have removed the bulkhead and the spot welded web of metal from the van floor that the bulkhead bolted to, completed the sound deadening, and the insulation, fitted stainless steel side bars and a front lower splitter. My windows are in now, I have bought a Loc8 sliding door card with the table, a rear sport skirt to fit to the rear bumper and a spoiler to go on the top of the tailgate. The body kit items have been trial fitted and are away being sprayed to match the van. I intend to fit them when I next get a break in the weather. A reversing camera is going in towards the end of November and the fitting of a pop up Skyline Aurora roof is now booked into a slot in mid Feb next year. Over the next few weekends I am going to focus on installing the wiring system and a diesel air heater. The problem I have is that I am doing most of this work outdoors(not in a nice warm dry workshop) so my progress has been weather dependant.
Best regards to you all,
Creamytash(Nottingham)
