I’ve not had the van long and a quick search has got me wondering if it’s doing a DPF Regen as a result of the flat battery? The fan doing keep running when I switch off and there’s no burning smell? The fan just runs from stone cold. The vans only done 30k miles and prior to being jump started it didn’t do this. Is there something else going on here ?? Thanks

that's odd . . .

shouldn't be doing that.

try this :

.

Ah that sounds promising, I’ll disconnect it tomorrow. Thanks very much for that

Hey

Having the same issue after a flat battery and jump start. Did anyone find a simple solution? Thanks

Thanks @roadtripper
Yeah tried a few variations of ECU reset but no success
Been off the road a while doing some mods including having front bumper off so I'm off searching for any plugs I've not reconnected/damaged looms etc *sigh*

Get yourself a code reader if you've not got one, much easier to find things if you can see what the van thinks is wrong.

Carista throwing up ambient ambient air temperature sensor circuit low (P0072) and ambient air temperature sensor circuit: Low (15651)
Any idea where this sensor is on a T6.1?

Just in case anyone has similar issue...
Thankfully cheap fix (£6) by replacing outside air temperature sensor, cleared above error plus lots others that were thrown up. Hassle is having to take off the front bumper to reach this on T6.1 (sits just below radar sensor)

Hi Roders, I'm having same issue!Did replacing the air temp sensor work?

Yes fixed the problem I had - cooling fans kicking straight in on max as soon as starting up.
Cheap part but was a hassle on the T6.1 to replace, I took the front bumper off. There might be an easier way but I couldn’t see/reach it without removing the bumper
