T6.1 PETROL ?

Does anyone have any info (or wild guess) whether VW will bring out a petrol 6.1.
In 3 years I've put 75,00 on my T32 204TSi DSG and loved every minute of them.
Completely trouble free, 32mpg overall. Love the power, smoothness & noise; but want more!
If there's a T6.1 petrol on the horizon I can wait, if not it's time to spend money on bodywork, chip, exhaust, air & rims.

No. It just doesn’t work with the emissions

I suspect in the t7 we will see a petrol hybrid.

Shame really as the petrol is Awesome - great to hear yours has been so good.

32mpg average? That’s brilliant, my 204 diesel is 25mpg average and I don’t drive it hard at all.

I wish they were. I’ll be keeping my T6 TSI for a long time, although seeing how prices are it is tempting to sell
