T6.1 Front assist just activated when there was no traffic or parked cars near to us.

Hi all
My brothers brand new sportline. Front sensors are going crazy. Emergency braked a couple of times on a round about. He’s sent it back. They still haven’t resolved the issue. Anyone else had similar problems? He ain’t happy

Did he get it sorted ?

If the front reg plate is loose,mines just stuck on rather than screwed and at first that was flapping and setting off the sensors,worth checking

Sort of. It had to go back vw several times and then they sent to the installers of the sportline model. He sold it shortly after, said it wasn’t 100%. It had only done around 400miles
