Squeaking from rear when reversing

Afternoon all,

So my 19 plate T6 has suddenly developed what can only be described as a loud creaking/squeaking from the rear end when reversing (at low speeds). Has anybody suffered with this before and if so found out what the cause was?
Any help greatly appreciated as always!

The T6’s are known to squeak when applying the brakes in reverse

Squeaking in reverse.

Done 8000 miles and I have brake squeel!!! Pissed off !!! 67 plate 150 I think its the rears,as when i reverse onto drive the noise sounds like a grunting noise? Anyone had issues this early with brakes??

Mine doesn’t do it when I brake but there is a squeaking noise while I’m reversing

Rear pads can stick when van has been left on the hand brake for a few days without use, this makes a noise when initially reversing. Soon breaks free and not a problem.

I’ve got this issue and expected it to disappear when I spent a fortune to have all brake pads and disks replaced recently. It was done by breeze who are a VW garage . And was not cheap !
Anyhow straight away I noticed the read pads would make this loud disturbing creaking squeaking noise when reversing and applying braking . Just as they had when I presumed it was from the previously worn disks / pads .
It fades like something is getting scrapped off the disks and then seems ok again . Until the next day or so then it’s straight back again with a vengeance ….any ideas what this may be ? It’s a very loud creaky squeaky sound coming from the rear of the van that I would not expect from a new set of brakes .
