Solar Cable Length query

Even if you don't set any specifics the ECU will still learn the general characteristics of the battery after about 10 cycles. If you've reset the data by updating the serial it will need to go through that learning period again so you might find items like start stop don't engage until then and charging is not optimal. I'd wait till that has settled down before digging into the solar charging some more.

funny old thing, you codify a battery and it starts to get the correct charge. Why do Garages say they have done something when they have not:(

Problem clearly attributed to lack of coding the ECU by the garage. Plugged the numbers in via VCDS and all is fine. Couple of hours on Solar and Main Battery charged

You still seem to be getting a difference on the voltages between solar and BM, though not as much as before?

its close to what you would expect to see @roadtripper. Without the battery coded properly, the ECU looks to have enforced a lower charge limit. Content now and no need to code a Varta.
