Sliding window replacement options T6.1 kombi

I am in Spain and have had my Uk rhs/ offside kombi sliding window broken.

Glad of a view on my options to repair or replace.
1. Can I buy a replacement slider window and fit it myself?
2. Can I buy a replacement piece of glass and bond it to the existing window?
3. Will VW look to swap the whole window out? There seems to be suggestions this is the case on some other posts.

I have searched the various threads but not turned up an answer - glad to be pointed at existing threads if they exist. Thanks

Has the window broken accidentally or is it more of a warranty issue?
I have just had both Kombi windows replaced on my 21 plate T6.1 as they were both leaking when raining. They replaced the whole unit on both sides and said they did this as standard when replacing rear windows under warranty.

HI - thanks for your reply bblake. So to close this thread - I had this replaced by VW in Spain - the whole window unit was replaced. The replacement glass is clear and will need tinting separately.
